linux desktop update
By jelly | March 12, 2008
got color printing working from ubuntu to the canon, no thanks to canon :), basically got it work on one computer and now am copying the printer conf file to the others, works like a charm.
Currenlty no problems for the one user. Now the next steps.
1. Get Remote Desktop working so we can administrate the exchange box. (already done)
2. Get a SVN Client running on Ubuntu so we can get the code from our repositories.
3. Get wine up and running, and see if we can run a few windows applications in it. One I’d like to get running is the watchguard system manager so I can administer our firewall from the linux box.

Good luck with that watchguard package
on wine. Please post to the wine-users
mailing list or forum with your experience;
we’ll help if we can.
