linux desktop day 4

No problems today, which is good because we had problems elsewhere in the company and could not donate any time to this project if one arrose. So far everything is going very good, the printing is still a little bit of a hurdle and is preventing me implementing to other people but we are waiting for the canon guy to come, because we can’t print with pcl 6 from a windows box either, and it says it should be able to.

So far this has been a much better experience then I thought. I chose the person because they ran very few applications to make it easy to port but they are notorious for complaining and so far I haven’t heard too many bad things coming from them. I would call this a sucess so far.
