Linux desktop day 3

By jelly | March 6, 2008

No major problems today, the user had no issues :)  Our PCL add on came from Canon today for our all in one.  It was sent second day air, and I was told an engineer would come to install it.  I was expecting a board.  it was a license key, actually it wasn’t even a license key on a license agreement, it was a print out of an email my rep received (why didn’t you just email it)  Also an engineer will install it????? we just added the key ourselves.

And for printing, a little weird bug that I’m hoping will get worked out today, currently I have 1 user and 2 IT people on Ubuntu.  All 3 can print in B/W using the PCL, one person can print in color.  They are all using the same driver.  Very strange in deed, hopefully that will get worked out today :)
