So a nice phone call from the GC on friday, he informs me that if he does everything that we want him to do, we are going to be about 11,000 over, which is not just 11,000 over, since we already had 20,000 extra built in for overage, so now 31,000 over.
Some of the things I understand because they were additions that we asked for but others are things that should have been in the budget to begin with, and I think the amounts he’s charging for them are high. So I think we are going to not have him do anything that we don’t need to get done to get in the house and then I can do a bunch of them on my own. Things like putting rock on the driveway and seeding the back slope for erosion control.
At this point right now its just get it done and get out of the house so we can move in and have room for all of our stuff. And so we are not on top of each other.
