puppies
By jelly | November 12, 2007
My young little puppies, I think they are about 10 months old now and one weights 45lbs and one weighs about 70lbs.
Have discovered that they can jump over a 5 foot fence which now is their dog run. I need to figure this out asap because these puppies are terrors. They are still puppies so they chew on everything, and I mean everything, I put them on my back deck last night to try to contain them but they decided that the screen door looked like a nice snack and completely shredded it. I discovered their misdeed when I heard a noise and noticed one dog chewing on the coaxial cable for our television.
I’m going to go to home depot at lunch and buy a wireless pet containment system and we will see how that works, I can’t leave them off leash like I do the other dogs because they roam like they are in a pack and get into all sorts of trouble.
Also with all the workers coming and going I get worried about them getting run over. Hopefully the wireless thing works and we can have them running around but still being safe. I’m going to buy the pet-safe wireless version, I’ve heard it works good and I used to have a petsafe wired system before. But out on the acreage I need to bury alot of cable and if I don’t bury it, it seems to get broken really easy.
